CUTTER’S WAY
Cutter’s Way is a movie I was commissioned to perform on. The score was written by Oscar-winning composer Jack Nitszche who also wrote the score for “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”. Cutter’s Way was recorded at Daniel Lanois’ Grant Avenue Studios.
This was the first score I worked on with my glass instruments and at the time, my range of instruments were unheard of. My lowest notes went down to A1.
I also performed on the Universal release “The Border” featuring Jack Nicholson with music by Ry Cooder and recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles.
The score is a fabulous mix of glass music, musical saw, Austrian zither, and the Armin Electric Strings.
